The adversarial process in litigation and negotiation can get heated and things said or done may cross the line. Ethics charges may ensue, whether through the State bars or the Office of Enrollment and Discipline for patent practitioners. With decorum in decline, ethics disputes are increasing. Michael McCabe counsels professionals/attorneys in this area, and will talk about what you can do to minimize the possibility for ethics charges, and if charged, minimize the potential for sanctions, suspension and possible disbarment. He will address the reality of an extremely stressful proceeding that could arise for anyone.
