LES France "Cybersecurity for SMEs & Start-Ups in Europe"

2024 is shaping up to be a busy year for cybersecurity! The entry into force of the NIS 2 (Network and Information Security) Directive on cyber security obligations and its implementation will profoundly change the legislative landscape. These new legal obligations has to be seen against the background of an exponential increase of cyber threats, risks that have been heightened for French SMEs and start-ups by the hosting of the Paris Olympic Games.

Guillaume Crépin, Ile-de-France delegate for the ANSSI (Network and Information Security National Agency), will provide an update on the reality of cyber risks for SMEs and start-ups. He will also discuss the future role of the ANSSI, soon to become a supervisory authority with the power to impose sanctions, as well as best practices and resources for protecting against cyber risks. His intervention will be followed by a roundtable with practitioners dealing with cybersecurity issues.
