Topic Meeting “Worldwide Trends in IP and Technology Transfer”

  • Dates: 17 – 17 Jun, 2015
  • Location: Rotterdam, The Netherlands
  • Address: Weena
  • Contact: secretariat@les-benelux.org
  • Website: http://les-benelux.org

On the occasion of the 40th Birthday of the LES Benelux, we invite you to celebrate the ever increasing role of IP and Licensing . Most areas of intellectual property concern critical aspects of companies and institutions — revenue and income, brand management, technology and product development, to name a few. As licensing professionals, we are working hard to add value, and are faced with a number of large worldwide trends in IP and their impact on technology transfer. Our topic day intends to shine some light on selected structural IP trends, as well as soliciting the views of different industries on where we might be heading. The day will also include our Annual General Meeting, and we will raise a glass to the next 40 years.

Speakers for this meeting will be:
William Bird, Patentive, Düsseldorf
Wouter Pors, Bird & Bird, The Hague
Guillemette Vital Durand, Nutricia Research, Utrecht
Vincent Ryckaert, IMEC, Leuven

Dirk Groenewegen, Cells4Therapy, Bilthoven
More speakers to be confirmed
The meeting will be chaired by Achim Krebs and Laura MacDonald.
