Mission
The mission of the Copyright Licensing Committee is to provide LESI and its constituent Member Societies with information about copyright licensing and its impact on company activities around the world and how they are affected by local law provisions and court precedents.

A former Director of the Mexican Patent and Trademark Office (1982-1986), Abraham is an Attorney-at-Law (Escuela Libre de Derecho, Mexico) in 1979 and a partner in the law firm of Alegria, Mendez & Fernandez Wong, S.C., specializing in Patent and Trademark prosecution, Copyright Deposits; Intellectual and Industrial Property Litigation, Franchise Agreements and Trade Secrets Protection. Awarded his specialization in Intellectual and Industrial Property from the Universidad Panamericana (Mexico City, 2005). |

John Hornick is an IP litigator of broad experience. In 27 years with Finnegan, Mr. Hornick has litigated more than 70 complex IP infringement and licensing cases in over 30 U.S. federal courts; 5 U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeals; the U.S. Supreme Court; the U.S. International Trade Commission; the National Arbitration Forum; WIPO; the American Arbitration Association; and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. He is a frequent lecturer and writer on a broad range of IP topics and writes a column on Software Licensing for The Licensing Journal. |
Susan Nusbaum (LES USA/Canada)

Suzanne K. Nusbaum is CEO of Impartia, a provider of neutral ADR services. She serves on many ADR rosters, including the ICC, the U.S. District Court for the Northern Dist. of California, WIPO, the Arts Arbitration and Mediation Service, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and the California Superior Court in Santa Clara County. A Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, Susan is also a Master of the San Francisco Bay Area Intellectual Property American Inn of Court and chairs the Northern California Chapter of the North American Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. |
