Mission
The mission of the Chemicals, Energy, Environment and Materials Committee is to serve as a focal point for the members of the oil petrochemical, chemical, polymers, renewable energy, and associated industries by, inter alia, promoting networking among its member and sponsoring appropriate educational activities such as workshops, lectures, and seminars.

Tony Venturino (LES USA/Canada)
 Tony Venturino is a partner in the Washington, DC office of Noval, Druce + Quigg, LLP. He is a trademark and chemical patent attorney with over 25 years of legal experience. Tony is a past chair of the AIPLA IP Practice in Europe Committee, and the LES USA/Canada Chemicals Sector Committee and current co-chair of the LESI Chemicals Industry Committee.

Sumiko Kobayashi (LES Japan)
 Sumiko Kobayashi is a Patent Attorney. A partner with Abe, Ikubo & Katayama in Tokyo, Japan, she advises and acts on behalf of Japanese, US, European and Asian companies. Sumiko is active primarily in the areas of IP litigation, importation restraint, and patent application practice.
Fabriama Niang (LES France)
 Fabirama NIANG is Vice President, Intellectual Property for Total. Previously, Fabirama was Director of Industrial Relations at University Louis Pasteur (Strasbourg, France), Director of Industrial Relations and President of “Réseau Curie” (French network of public research’s technology transfer offices) and Responsible for Licensing In at France Telecom.
