- South Africa 2010
The goal of this Project will be to organize and put on six workshops related to the Chemicals, Energy and at the LESI Annual Conference in Sandton, South Africa in April 2010.
- Internationalizing the CEEM Royalty Rate Survey
The LESI CEEM Committee is taking the lead in surveying our members which, when added to the Royalty Rate Survey being conducted by the Chemicals, Energy, Environment and Materials Sector of LES USA/Canada, is intended to internationalize the LES USA/Canada CEEM Sector Royalty Rate Survey, thereby making it useful for an international audience. The Survey results to be presented at the 2010 LES USA/Canada Spring Meeting.
- Chicago 2010
Project involves the planning and preparation of Workshop(s) at the 2010 LES USA/Canada Annual Meeting, September 26-29, Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. At present, the LESI CEEM Committee has submitted a mini-plenary proposal entitled: “Part 1 The Latest Case-Decisions Affecting Patent Licensing; and Part 2 The Latest Case-Decision Affecting Trademark Licensing” which would include Niels Hoelder, Jonathan Hudis, Richard Treanor, Angela Wenninger and Junichi Yamazaki as co-presenters and a Workshop Proposal on “Strategies for Actually Transferring the Technology of International Chemical Deals; Dealing With the Hangover After the Signing Celebration” which would be co-presented by Patrick Desmond; Pete Sahu and Erik Verbraeken.
