- Association between ADIAT and LES Mexico
October 2009
The Project has as its primary aim to attract more members, not in the legal profession, into LES Mexico and to make an association with ADIAT. As part of this Project, a joint conference between LES Mexico and ADIAT will be held in October 2009 where the LES IAM 100 and 200 courses will be taught.
- Train-the-Trainer Course in México
October 2009
The Project has as its aim to increase membership in LES Mexico by holding the LES “Training-the-Trainer course in order to provide more locally-based trainers who are capable of teaching LES courses. LES Mexico will organized a TTT course in October 2009 with professors from LES Mexico or other countries in Latin America to provide an opportunity of education and training in licensing and technology transfer by professionals in the field.
- Breakfast Conferences in Mexico
October 2009
In October 2009, with the support of the LESI Americas Committee, LES Mexico will be organizing at least four local breakfast-conferences to discuss license and technology transfer issues which are to take place during the month of October, 2009.
- Train-the-Trainer Course in Argentina

In October 2009, with the support of the LESI Americas Committee, LES Argentina is to organize a TTT course to be held in October 2009 with professors from LES Mexico and other countries in Latin America to provide an opportunity of education and training in licensing and technology transfer to professional in the area.
- Round Table in Bio in Chile
November 2009
In November, 2009, with the support of the LESI Americas Committee, LES Chile will organize a round table in the field of Bio.
- Around the World with LES

Working with various national societies the Americas Committee is planning education and reception events in various countries throughout the Americas. LES Brazil will be offering a 101 course followed by a cocktail, LES Argentina will have a cocktail event and LES Chile will have an IP Happy Hour, an IP Key note speech and a basic IP course for school children.

The following seminars promoted by LES Brazil with the assistance of the Americas Committee will be delivered in the city of Rio de Janeiro: Fundamental 101 (April 27), Fundamental 102 (May 04), and Fundamental 103 (May 18).
- LESI Americas Committee Latin American Innovation Tour 2010 to Chile, Argentina & Brazil
September 05-11, 2010
The LESI Americas Committee is assisting in the organization of the Latin American Innovation Tour 2010 to Chile (Santiago 5, 6, and 7), Argentina (Buenos Aires 8 and 9) and Brazil (São Paulo 10 and11). Local and U.S. speakers will talk about Pitfalls in Drafting Contracts, National Scene and Government Policies for Innovation, R&D and Licensing, and Biotech R&D and Licensing.
- LESI Americas Committee Latin American Innovation Tour 2010 to Mexico

The LESI Americas Committee is assisting in the organization of the Latin American Innovation Tour 2010 to Mexico. North American speakers will tour to Latin America to talk about licensing, tech transfer, and collaborations between the North and the South.
